UK Student Mediation Competition 2022/23
Student mediators, this is a great opportunity to display your mediation skills and compete against other student mediators. This year the competition was held at SOAS, University of London and the winners were Edinburgh University. The Individual Mediator Prize was won by Morgan Williams (Swansea University).
UK Student Mediation Competition
The UK Student Mediation Competition is a competition for Law Students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level of study. The origins of the competition can be traced back to 2008 when the first competition took place at The University of Westminster and thereafter has been held every year during the academic calendar at various institutions across the country. The competition is designed to help Law students to understand the value of resolving disputes through mediation and to help develop their mediation skills and techniques, and better understand the mediation process in general. The competition enables students to apply their knowledge and skills in these areas during the course of their personal and professional lives.
